Custom Order Policy

At DEYA, we love creating pieces that feel personal and unique. Our custom orders give you the chance to collaborate with us on something one-of-a-kind — designed around your colours, mood, and style, but brought to life through our creative process.

How It Works

After placing your custom order, you’ll receive an email from us to begin your design discussion.
You can share:

  • The colours or tones you’re drawn to
  • The length you’d like (e.g. short, mid, or long)
  • Any inspiration images — such as jewellery you love, outfits, or general aesthetic references

We’ll then have 2–3 back-and-forth emails to refine your vision and confirm the direction within 48 hours of your order being placed.
After that, the final design decisions are up to us — no changes can be made once the details are confirmed. This ensures we can source materials and craft your piece without delay.

Creative Freedom

Custom orders are a collaboration — you provide the inspiration, and we handle the creation.
Because each piece is designed from your brief and materials may vary, your finished necklace will be unique and may differ slightly from any reference photos.
We don’t offer mock-ups, renders, or previews before your piece is made.

Pricing

Each custom piece is priced at $120 AUD, reflecting the extra design time, creative process, and sourcing involved in making a piece just for you.

Processing & Dispatch Times

Please allow up to 3 weeks for your custom piece to be completed before dispatch.
Timeframes depend on material availability — some beads and charms may need to be ordered in. If we already have your chosen materials on hand, your order may ship sooner.

Returns & Exchanges

All custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
If your piece arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us at hello@shopdeya.com within 7 days of receiving it so we can assist in line with Australian Consumer Law.
